Eco School

We have an Eco Team at school, two children from every class attend the meetings. During the meetings we discuss ways we can be more eco friendly in our school. At the moment Year 5 are working in the school garden, we are learning about composting and growing our own vegetables and herbs. You can find more information about the eco-team on our display board in the upper key stage two cloak room. We also have a suggestion box outside the Year 5 classroom.

Netball Club

Every Friday after school there is a netball club for Year 5 and 6 pupils. The club is free and our coaches are Miss Abbott and Mrs Rickard. We learn different skills and take part in matches with other schools. It really is fun!

Football Club for Girls

On Wednesday lunch times Miss Abbott runs a girls football club. It is free and you learn how to control the ball as well as taking part in small football matches. The club is open to any girls in Year 4, 5 or 6. It is great fun and its helps you with your football skills.

Football Club for Boys

After school on Monday Mr Ollerton runs a boys football club. It is open to any boys in Year 5 and 6. The boys work towards matches against other schools as well as practising their footballing skills.

Dodge Ball Club

There are currently two dodge ball clubs. One is on Thursday lunch times, this is open to anyone in Year 4 and is run by Miss Abbott. The other club is on Friday after school and this is open to key stage one children, this is taught by a coach who comes into school and there is a small charge for this club.

Basketball Club

In the autumn term we have a basketball club and work on different strategies. We play small games and then compete in local school matches. The basket ball season ends in the spring term.

Chess Club

After school on Wednesday we have chess club. We are taught by Mr Jones. We learn how pieces move and about tricky moves. We play games against each other and we have a league. It is open to anyone in key stage two. 

Running Club

Every Thursday during the autumn and spring term we have an after school athletics club run by Mrs Jacques, Miss Abbott and a team of parents. It is open to anyone who is a keen athlete.

Spanish Club

Mrs Harding runs a Spanish Club once a week during lunch time. She also teaches Key Stage 1 Spanish every week.

Arts Club

Mrs Redman runs an after school art club which takes place in the dining room. The club is open to anyone and you learn how to make lots of crafty type things.

Disco Dancing

On Thursday we have an after school disco dancing club run by Miss Jamieson, who is a disco dancing champion. It is for anyone interested in keeping fit whilst learning how to groove! This is free of charge.
